Meet the Provider
Melanie Ryan, MS, FNP-C
Ms. Ryan graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas-Houston Health Science Center School of Nursing. While working as an Registered Nurse, Ms.Ryan completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2004, earning a Master of Science degree from Texas Woman's University in Houston, Texas. She became Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in March of 2005.
In 2007, Ms. Ryan underwent training from the Esthetic Skin Institute for BOTOX® injectables and dermal fillers (such as Restylane®, Juvederm®, and Radiesse®. During that time, she also received additional certification in the utilization of lasers for hair removal and skin rejuvenation.
Prior to joining Cure Health and Wellness, Ms. Ryan worked in a variety of settings including intensive care, postoperative recovery, family practice, neurosurgery, and urgent care. Ms. Ryan also has experience in operating the medical aspect of a non-profit medical clinic for underserved individuals.
A native Houstonian, Ms. Ryan is also active in local Advanced Practice Nursing and Women's Business Organizations. She regularly participates in community health fairs, and enjoys speaking about health-related topics to local schools, universities, and community centers.
